Well, I am proud to say I was able to stick with the challenge that my blogging buddy Julie and I are doing!
The challenge was to create 2 Christmas cards last week, one simple and one more elaborate.
Well, here is my simple design!
This design is GREAT for when you want to make a bundle of cards in very little time.
I used embossing on these cards in gold and silver on Shimmer white cardstock, but you can get almost the same look in either Close to Cocoa or Going Gray on Whisper White. Add a little glitter or bling, and you really have something elegant!
The hardest part about these cards was the embossing! For best results, I would suggest using the Stampamajig for the sentiment to get it right where you want it and straight.
Tomorrow I will post my more elaborate card!
Hope you like!
Stamp sets used:
Snow Swirled
Snowflake Spot
A Cardinal Christmas

Yay, Georgeann! Great cards! I'll get both of mine up tomorrow when I can get a decent picture. :-D
Love the simplistic elegance of both of these. What great samples for mass production! Wonderful inspiration.
