Sprinkles of Life A Little Foxy Shaker Card

This weeks theme at Stampin' Royalty is Stripes!!
I love stripes!

I had fun making this shaker card using the A Little Foxy DSP, and the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set.

I used circle dies to cut the window out of the patterned paper panel (ppp?) then built the shaker card using the traditional way. The heart on top of the cupcake is from the Owl Builder Punch :o)

Supplies:
Ink - Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Smoky Slate
Cardstock - Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Calypso Coral, Pool Party
Stamps - Sprinkles of Life
Accessories - Owl Builder Punch, Tree Builder Punch, Circle Dies

Foxy Friends, Labeler Alphabet Hello Card

The theme at Stampin' Royalty this week is a Color Challenge!

Here are the colors!

For this one, i was finally able to use my Foxy Friends stamp set for the first time! This set is one of the most adorable I've ever seen! you can make so many different critters with it! For this one, i made a little woodland fox who came to say hello!
I used the Woodgrain embossing folder to emboss the Tip Top Taupe piece for the background panel, then stamped the trees in Pear Pizzazz, 'stamping off' the first time for the largest  tree, then full ink strength for the second tree, then stamped again on a scrap piece, then cut out that tree...

On another scrap piece of Very Vanilla, i stamped the fox, the stump, the mushrooms and the sentiment letters, then either cut them out or punched them out, then created this scene. i added some strips of Early Espresso to finish off the look of the card

Supplies:
Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Tip Top Taupe, Early Espresso
Ink - Pear Pizzazz, Tip Top Taupe, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler
Stamps - Labeler Alphabet, Foxy Friends
Accessories - Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder, Fox Builder Punch

Rose Wonder, Seaside Sympathy Card

This card was made for the Anything Goes Challenge at Stampin' Royalty this week!
I made several Sympathy cards for an order that i needed to fill.
For this one, i used Sahara Sand cardstock and Crumb Cake ink, highlighted the shells using a White Chalk Marker, and lowlighted using the Crumb Cake and a Blender Pen.
I then used a sponge to create a mottled 'sand' effect on the panel, dabbing it between the shells. I also spattered white and crumb cake on the panel for even more visual texture.

After stamping and coloring, i ran the panel through my Big Shot using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The sentiment and frame stamp is from the Rose Wonder set.

Supplies:

Ink - Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Cardstock - Sahara Sand Very Vanilla
Stamps - Rose Wonder, Seaside
Accessories - Eyelets, Twine, White Chalk Marker, Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Rose Wonder, Swirly Bird, a Little Foxy Card

This weeks Stampin' Royalty Challenge is a
Picture Inspiration Challenge!
Here is the picture i was inspired by!

Love the colors, patterns, everything! (and hey, there's cake!)
This one was actually pretty easy...
I just layered cardstock and patterned paper from the A Little Foxy DSP Stack, then stamped a single image from the Swirly Bird set on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the same image on a strip of white paper. I will probably make a tutorial very soon on how i lined it up.
Then i stamped a sentiment on top of it and used Dimensionals to pop it up.
I created borders using the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape and circles punched out of Smoky Slate cardstock and glued in a line. to finish it off i tied some Calypso Coral Bakers Twine (retired) around it! There are lots of substitutes you can use for the bakers twine, since that particular one is retired.

Supplies:
Stamps -  Rose Wonder, Swirly Bird
Ink - Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral, Basic Gray
Cardstock - Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Whisper White, Smoky Slate
Accessories - A Little Foxy DSP Stack, small circle punch, Calypso Coral Bakers Twine (retired), Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape, Project Life by Stampin' Up Corner Rounder

Stamping Marathon!

Every so often i will go into my craft room and try to use as many scraps, retired, or lonely misc. products that I've had lying around the room forever as i can,  so they do not feel unloved ;o)
About a week ago, i spent a good part of the day doing just that, and i was able to get several cards made in the process. i made duplicates of all of these cards, so that took a good amount of time as well, some i made 2, some i made 8, depending on how much of each product i had.

I thought i would share them here and hopefully give you some inspiration!

Giggle Greetings Z-Fold Card

I took a simple approach to my card this week....we'll pretend that it WASN'T because i ran out of time..... ;o)

oh, ok, so truth be told, that WAS the reason haha... however, once again, this shows that not only can you make a simple but cute card, even when short on time, but also when you don't have a lot of supplies!

I basically cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock in half vertically, to create a 4 1/4 x 11 piece, then scored it at 5 1/2, then again at  2 3/4 on one side. that creates your Z-fold.  I then just cut some squares, stamped and colored, then i added washi tape from the Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape set, and a panel of white on the inside, cut so that it is hidden .  I added black bakers twine under the image panel, just enough so that it wraps around the card and can be tied when closed.

Supplies:
Stamps - Giggle Greetings
Cardstock - Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Wild Wasabi
Accessories - Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape, Black Bakers Twine, Blender Pen.

Swirly Bird, Grateful Bunch, Swirly Scribbles Thank You Card

This Weeks Stampin' Royalty challenge is a Picture Inspiration Challenge!
Here is the image to be inspired by!

For this card, i had inked up a sponge with Calypso Coral ink, sprayed the sponge with water, then used the sponge to swipe across the panel, both along the bottom half, and an isolated spot on the top half. I stamped the sentiment using black, then just die cut the elements, stamped some of the images on those die cuts, then placed them all accordingly, and added a few White Perfect Accents dots.
pretty easy! i will be making a video tutorial for this card soon!

*Update: Here is a link to the video tutorial of this card! stay tuned at the end for measurements!

Marquee Messages, Pop of Pink, Star Birthday Shaker Card!

Here is my sample card for this weeks Stampin' Royalty
the theme is To DIE For, use your dies!
i recently purchased the Stars Framelits Dies, and really wanted to incorporate those into a shaker birthday card somehow...
well, here's what happened after about an hour and a half! :oD

The great thing is, you can use just about any color for this card to customize it to the person you are giving it to!  I did want to go for a girls card, and make it 'rocky'! so what better than black and Melon Mambo?

I think i will make a few more...

most of this is pretty self explanatory,  but i should mention i stamped the stars on the Cardbase in Craft White using the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set, and used my Dies to make the large stars, and i used a retired star punch for the small accent star, but there are other dies currently available that you could substitute very nicely for the same look.

Supplies:
Ink-  Basic Black, Craft White
Stamps- Marquee Messages, Perpetual Birthday Calendar
Cardstock- Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Accessories- Pop of Pink DSP, Silver Glimmer Paper, Silver Sequins, Wink of Stella Pen

Grateful Bunch, Swirly Bird Gift Bag

The theme at Stampin' Royalty this week is to choose one of the Goddesses favorite color schemes and make a project using those colors!
My favorite colors are Black, White, and Melon Mambo, with a touch of Pink Pirouette!

i love the boldness, but girly-ness about these colors.. they are so 'me'!
I had a few little goodies i wanted to give to a friend, so i bundled them up, tied them with some ribbon, and roughly measured around it to see how big i needed to make my 'bag'. I then used those measurements to cut some DSP from the Pop of Pink Specialty pack, then used some scraps from the same pack, and made a bag and some banners, then used my Whisper White, cut a panel, then stamped using the Grateful Bunch and Swirly Bird sets. I can't wait to give this to my friend!

Supplies:
Ink - Melon Mambo, Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette
Stamps - Swirly Bird, Grateful Bunch
Accessories - Pop of Pink Specialty DSP

Special Day With My Mom

had a WONDERFUL day spending time with my mom for her birthday yesterday! We did a little shopping at our favorite store, went to lunch, and we usually stamp something when we get together, and yesterday was no exception! I had been very busy the week before, and didn't have a whole lot of time to prepare anything for us to work on, but lo and behold, i had several kits and Paper Pumpkins that were waiting to be shown some love! i have to tell you, these are the best things ever! this was the perfect occasion to have them for! no thinking, no prep work, just open it up,and have fun!
As you can see, we tweaked the designs just a little, (one was inspired by a card on Pinterest!) and that is the beauty of it! if you feel like you don't have a creative bone in your body but would still love to make something, everything is ready for you! but if you want to make it your own, the sky is the limit!

We had a great day!!

Swirly Scribbles, Rose Wonder Birthday Card

I was able to use my BRAND NEW Swirly Scribbles Die along with my Rose Garden Dies to make this lovely card!  The Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies will be available next month!!  Such a cute set, and i can't wait to find all kinds of ways to use it!
The 'scribbled' lines were cut using Whisper White and then with Smoky Slate, and i just used the negative pieces from the Smoky Slate to fill in the spaces on the Whisper White piece.  i also used pieces from the Rose Garden Die set to add some other elements. for the flower centers, i used the sprinkles from the Cupcake Builder Punch. Glue it all together and there ya go!

Supplies:
Ink- Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate
Cardstock - Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Smoky Slate
Stamps - Rose Wonder
Accessories - Rose Garden Thinlits Dies, Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies
Cupcake Builder Punch, Pearl Accents.
