Simple Gifts
This card is kind of on the simple side, even though it has lots of layers. If you break it down, you will see that it is just a cardbase with two panels, a simple matted square with a colored image, a sentiment cut out, a strip of ribbon, and some buttons.
I think this little hedgehog is just so cute, don't you?

Feelin' Punchy!
Ok! So this weeks challenge over at Stampin' Royalty is to use punches! So that is what I did with almost everything on this card!
To make the owl. I used the largest oval, tag, scallop circle, small circles, Boho Blossoms, and a heart punch.
Of course I used circles for the flowers, and also for the leaves on the flowers. I punched out the circle in green and then stuck it back in the punch to create a leaf.
I even used a punch to create the background. I punched a circle out of a scrap piece, then used a sponge and Whisper White Craft ink to create the polka dots on the pink cardstock.
I did however, cut the branch out by hand :)

A Little Grungy
Here is another card I made along with this card. Again, similar, but each unique. I really grunged this one up! I have a couple more that I made in the same session that I will post later.
I always found making cards for boys incredibly difficult. Especially ones over the age of 9. If you have that same problem, hopefully this will give you a little bit of inspiration!

Super Simple Monday
You know, when I was making up this card, I went with Yo-Yo yellow, but I realized you could use just about any color and it would still look great!
You could also substitute a flower for the butterfly or any large embellishment.
I made this card for this weeks Stampin' Royalty challenge, K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, sweetie!)
and if you wanted to simplify it even more, you could use patterned paper instead of stamping it, or even just stamp directly on the card base and omit the mat and layer.

Transformation
I had originally made this card about 2 years ago, and it was sitting in my stash since then. Seeing as it was back when I was still a newbie in the card making world, it was very plain. I recently added the cake and the little part at the bottom of the pattern strip that says "on your birthday". A huge improvement.
Anyway, here is the card!

Super Simple Monday
I was again going through my scraps, and threw this card together! You could use any elements in place of the dragonflies. I had these dragonfly punches from many many years ago and wanted to use them. I added some glitter to their wings, which looks a little weird in the picture, but looks better in person. And yes, I know the sentiment is stamped crooked. Trust me...It's bugging me too! LOL!
A Piece of patterned paper, a strip behind it, one or two elements for the main portion, and a sentiment. So quick, you might even have time to make more than one!

Woohoo!
Oh my gosh, Yippee!!!!!!! My last card was chosen as a Goddess Pick at Stampin Royalty!! They have great challenges every week, and there are SOOO many great submissions and examples to look at! Thanks, Stampin Royalty, I'm SO honored!!!
Today's card is one I made during a week long birthday card making session. I thought it turned out very "boy".
Ok, until next time!

Spring has Sprung!
I only wish that we had sunshine this last week! It has been raining and overcast all week! I would actually enjoy it if there was at least lightning to go with it!
But to bring a bit of sunshine a least to my blog, Here is a 5x5 card I made for Easter!
I think I'll enter it into this weeks challenge over at Stampin' Royalty, which has an Easter theme!
I really do love the butterfly embosslit Stampin Up has and I'm really sad it will only be available until the end of April. I have gotten SO much use out of that thing!
Anyway, here is my card!
