They Grow Up So Fast.....
Boys. What can I say? My little boy is not so little anymore. Today is his last day of school. He graduates next week, then, off to college! I have spent almost half my life dedicated to raising him, and it just seems so weird that the time has finally come for him to leave the nest so to speak. He will still be living with me and attending Boise State, but I get the feeling I won't see him much! Anyway, I have decided to post a couple more "boy" cards today, for all of you who need a little inspiration on making cards for boys and have as much trouble as I always have in coming up with something.
Ok, Wish me luck and only a few tears, as my baby boy graduates next Tuesday! You did it, son, I am so very proud of you!

Sweet Shop
The colors and everything on this card just reminds me of a sweet shop!
I cannot tell you how happy I am that Stampin' Up is bringing back Baja Breeze! I had stocked up on it before it retired previously, so I am glad it gives me an excuse to stop hoarding it and start using it! (Now if only we can convince them to bring back Soft Sky!)
Oh! and a quick side note... I have seen the new In Colors, and let me tell ya, I can't wait to get them in my hands! They are super fun!

A Piece of Cake
I thought I would post a card I did using paper piecing.
If you look at the candle and base of the cupcake, you will notice that those are made with patterned paper. This technique is very easy, and can really make your images look extra special!
Basically you stamp the image onto a scrap piece of patterned paper, and cut it out! It's that easy!
I have layered a piece of white cardstock for the frosting using dimensionals for this one.

Super Simple Monday
Here is another Super Simple card that you can recreate in no time!
Just cut a piece of patterned paper to fit along the bottom portion of the card, use a coordinating color for the mat strip and punched scallops, then stamp your images and wording, color the image, and punch out the words and image. Assemble it all, and you have a quick card that should take less than 10 minutes (including coloring!)
A Digital Scrapbook Page
Happy Monday!
Well, seeing as this is National Scrapbook Month, I thought I better start making up some pages! I've been LOVING digital scrapbooking, because I can get so much done in about a fraction of the time! And time has been something I have needed a lot more of lately!
Where does the time go!? I need to scrapbook more often, because my memory just ain't what it used to be!
Anyway, I'm glad this weeks challenge over at Stampin' Royalty is about Family, because it got my rear in gear to make this page!
